Next Generation 1W SMD DC-DC Converters Offer Cost Reduction
The surface mount single output IFS01 un-regulated converters incorporate a new integrated controller chip resulting in a lower component count that provides an enhanced yield with cost savings. Other benefits include: better capacitive loading characteristics; integrated over temperature and short circuit protection; higher efficiency at light load and no-load reducing power consumption.
The IFS01 provide excellent cost savings, whilst offering an enhanced specification compared to the original ISF series. The improved efficiency and reduced power consumption will particularly benefit battery powered applications by providing a longer battery life. With an IPX6 rating, the devices are suitable for production processes utilizing water wash cleaning.
