RDE20 Series
20W 1" x 1" PCB mount 4:1 wide input DC-DC converters for railway equipment
Designed for railway applications, the RDE20 series converters are certified to EN50155 and comply with EN50121-3-2 railway standards for electronic equipment used on traction & rolling stock. They are housed in a compact 1” x 1” footprint PCB mount package.
The 20 watt RDE20 is available in two wide input ranges covering all standard railway traction battery voltages: 13 to 70VDC for 24, 37.5 & 48VDC nominal supplies; 42 to 176VDC for 72, 96 & 110VDC nominal supplies.
Typically used on traction & rolling stock to power: Telemetry; Door control; System & safety monitors; Communication & infotainment systems; Video surveillance; Access & ticketing machines; Drive controls; Power controls; Information systems; Lighting; Passenger device-charging USB ports; HVAC systems; Sanitation control.
