Ultra-wide 12:1 input 50W DC-DC converters for railway applications
RDF50 series converters, designed for railway applications and certified to EN50155 & EN50121-3-2 railway standards for electronic equipment used on traction & rolling stock.
The 50 watt RDF50 has an ultra-wide input range from 14 to 160VDC enabling it to cover all standard traction battery voltages: 24; 37.5; 48; 72, 96 & 110VDC with the one device. The modules are fully protected against input UVLO (under voltage lock out), output short circuit, output over voltage and over temperature conditions.
Typical applications on traction & rolling stock include: Door control; Safety monitors; Communication systems; Video surveillance; Access & ticketing machines; Drive controls; Power controls; Information systems; Lighting; Passenger device-charging USB ports.
